Amelia Delgado

My journey with yoga began eight years ago in Mallorca, when I was unexpectedly given the opportunity to guide a class. That moment sparked a deep curiosity within me, leading me to explore the practice beyond the physical postures. Over the years, yoga has become not only my personal path but also my profession, allowing me to teach, travel, and create transformative retreat experiences around the world.I have deepened my studies in India and Bali, immersing myself in diverse traditions and learning from remarkable teachers whose wisdom continues to inspire my path. Through international training, I have refined my practice, expanding my understanding of yoga beyond the physical and into a way of being.

The birth of Hacia Samadhi

Hacia Samadhi was born from a deep fascination with the world’s most spiritual places. As I wandered through the mystical streets of India, I wondered why not everyone had the opportunity to experience such profound connection. This curiosity and reverence led me to create a space where yoga, culture, and community come together in an immersive and meaningful way.

Our retreats are designed with care and attention to detail, ensuring that every participant feels truly seen and heard. Each experience blends adventure, depth, and connection, offering more than just a pause from daily life—it’s a chance to explore new landscapes, both within and beyond. No two days are alike at Hacia Samadhi—each retreat is a unique journey, and the greatest lesson is learning to dedicate time to oneself.

Today, Hacia Samadhi continues to grow, offering international retreats that bring together the magic of yoga and the beauty of cultural immersion. Currently, we invite you to experience this in Sri Lanka, where the rhythm of the ocean, the warmth of the people, and the deep spiritual heritage create the perfect setting for transformation.

Teaching Philosophy

Amelia´s approach to teaching blends meditative depth with dynamic movement, encouraging students to step beyond their comfort zones in a safe and supportive environment. She sees yoga as a tool for self-discovery, inner balance, and meaningful connection, both on and off the mat.

Her daily practice includes meditation, chanting, and yoga, grounding her in her purpose and allowing her to teach with clarity and intention. More than anything, she is inspired by the transformation she witnesses in her students -the sense of peace and renewal they carry after each class.

One of the most enriching aspects of Hacia Samadhi is the diverse community it brings together. People from different paths and cultures unite through yoga, creating a truly inclusive and supportive atmosphere, where everyone is welcome, and every journey is honored.
